I purchased this cable after the 3.5 mm audio cable stopped working between my iPhone and my 2006 Honda Civic. This is a much cleaner setup; this 1 cable replaces the 3.5 mm audio cable and USB charging cable. Maybe the 3.5 mm audio cable had been going bad before it quit working completely, but this new Cosmos cable seems to provide better sound.

Had been using this successfully for many months, then upgraded my iPhone 4s to iOS 5.1, at which point it stopped charging.
It still charges my wife's iphone 4s which isstill on iOS 5.0. I've found reports in apple forums that other third party charging cables stopped charging after the iOS upgrade.
I can't recommend it for this reason.
