The product description is inaccurate. I selected it because the original iPhone has a recessed headphone jack, unlike later models. This causes a problem for third-party headphone plugs, which are too wide for the narrow recessed area which leads to the jack.
Because this item DOES NOT FIT in this narrow opening, I was unable to use it. My time and money were wasted on this product. I cannot use my third-party headphones with my iPhone. I must use the poor-quality Apple earbuds, or buy another adapter which actually works.
If it had been accurately described, I would not have purchased it!

When I updated my iPhone 3G S case from a simple rubber case to a Speck Products CandyShell Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Black/Gray), my 3rd party headphones would no longer fit tightly into the iPhone jack as the opening in the Speck case was too small for the plug. This adapter solves that problem perfectly due to the very narrow plug on the male end.
The connections on both ends of the adapter are very snug.
Thus far I have noticed no negative affects from using this adapter. I have experienced no sound drop-outs or distortions of any kind. My only issue is that when I remove the adapter from iPhone, I do get a rather loud pop through my speakers, even if nothing is playing at the time. But, that is a minor issue for sure.
Given the VERY inexpensive price for this adapter (a similar adapter at RadioShack cost me $9.99) it is cheap enough to replace a couple times a year without too much complaint... And, despite its low cost, it doesn't feel cheap at all. Highly recommended.

For 25 bucks this case is excellent. Try buying any case at an Apple store and you'll quickly realize this is a good deal.
Provides good battery backup--recharges me to about 72 percent from empty. Thinner and as light and better fitting than Otterbox's silicon skin--with battery too!
The case is not bulky or too heavy. It fits and protects the iPhone 4 well, and is no larger than most of the protective cases we already have. (I always carry my phones in a protective case.) If you start with a full charge on the phone and the case, you will have a very long use time, depending on what you're doing with it. I tend to do things that drain the battery such as playing 3-D games and using GPS apps such as using it as my bicycle computer and navigator on long rides. This will keep me from running out of juice in the middle of nowhere when riding weather returns.
If you can buy two of these I promise you'll dig the power. If you're always out taking pics and using third party photo apps and uploading snaps to facebook and so on, you'll be able to use this as your snapshot camera without worrying about running out of phone power. plug in your phones and listen to Pandora without fear of draining your juice.
This is a great gadget.

I replaced another brand's battery case for my iPhone 4 that had died. The other one was $80 new. This one was about $25. I like the way this one looks better than the other, and it does just as good a job helping me run up to 48 hours on a charge. The only negative is that the green led charge indicator on the back flashes during charging and I have to cover it up so it won't keep me awake at night in my bedroom. Great value!

the charger worked as promised. No issue on compatibility with the iPhone 4, so I'm happy. I got it so I could charge my phone while using it with my mp3 adapter in the car stereo. works great!

Once again impressed with the fast delivery and the ease of ordering. But the product does not work. I took the charger out to the car, unplugged the one I had been using and plugged in this new charger. The charger showed that it was getting 12 volts, but when it was connected to the iphone 4 it appeared the phone was not getting any voltage for charging. Also, the connector fit loosely into the iphone 4 and when I looked closer, the connector did not appear to even have the same design connection characteristics. I think the connector was for a different type phone where you need the metal legs on the ends of the connector to positively connect (latch) to some phone, but not the iphone 4. Once I noticed it did not work, I plugged the charger I had been using and the iphone 4 popped up showing the green bar as the phone was charging. So, that just proved that the charger I had been using worked and the iphone 4 was able to to accept a charge. The charger that I had been using was not OEM equipment, but I paid $20 for it via buying it from a store from store and could test it right in the store before I walked out, so in this case, NON-OEM worked, but I could evaluate it before walking out of the store. Purchasing products for interconnecting devices can have many risks. I doubt I will buy from Amazon other devices like this, but right now I am waiting on Amazon to tell me how they will deal with this issue. When cheap does not work, it becomes expensive.

overall I am happy with this product.I use it with my Iphone4s and have used similar products with my Iphone4 and Iphone 3gs.It does charge my phone like it should but the only concern is that in order to charge the case I have to take it off the phone or it will not charge both phone and case.i have used similar products and I did not have to do this I would just plug it to one charger and charge both case and phone at the same time.I do not know if mine is defected or not but just beware.Over all I am happy with this product

I received my halo screen protectors about 4 days after I ordered them. When I was looking at different screen protectors on amazon for the iPhone 4S there were so many options and I didn't know which ones to choose! When I ordered these screen protectors it said it had 4 for both the back and front, when I got them in the mail I only got 3. It wasn't a big deal, but still a little annoying. So, on to the applying them. They come with directions on how to apply the protectors but I decided to just wing it. I wiped the screen with the cloth in the package and applied the protector. You want to make sure and peel of the first layer before you apply and then the second layer after it's on the phone. The first couple of tries I had a lot of air bubbles that I couldn't get out with a credit card, but that was probably just because I didn't follow the directions. I tried one more time with the last protector and I got it! I have no air bubbles and the protector doesn't affect the retina display at all, you can barely tell there's a screen protector on the phone. It seems to stick really good to the phone but not that it would ruin your screen when you remove it. Now, on to the back side. I applied the back protector perfectly the first time which leaves me with two more if I ever need them again. I also have no air bubbles on the back and is practically invisible against the white iPhone. Also, the cut outs for the home button and front camera line up perfectly with the phone. Overall, I'm really pleased with this product! The application was easy and it's barely noticeable. The screen does get a lot of finger prints and smudges, that doesn't bug me but if that's something that bugs you, it's easy to remove just by wiping your shirt over it. I'm a kind of person that will look at a million different screen protectors read tons of reviews and still be scared to choose one. If you're that kind of person, I'm telling you, get this screen protector, you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't tell you it was a great product if it wasn't. I would definitely buy this product again!

The instructions came with the product says the installation should be done in a 'dust free' environment, but this is hardly realistic. Also I kind of doubt that this product was manufactured in a dust free environment in the first place. Anyway the truth is that is there any dust/fiber on the surface of the phone, no matter how tiny they are, a bubble will show up for each of them, and it is virtually impossible to get completely dust free in a single shot no matter how hard you try.
So my trick is to use some Scotch tapes - first you use the tape to remove all the particles from the surface of the phone, as thoroughly as possible, I found this is much more effective than the wipe cloth. Then peel of the first layer, apply the film on the phone - most likely, there will still be dust particles or fiber there and they are very visible as ugly bubbles. But don't panic. What I did is first remember the location of the bubbles, lift up the film, and use another piece of Scotch tape to pull off the dust or fiber from the film. This technique works great for me, and after a few such tries and I did perfect bubble free installations on 2 iPhones, both front and back. All you need are Scotch tapes and patience!

I ordered this cradle with very little expectation that it would do what its advertised to do. I've purchaed several other units and they were both junk. When this unit arrived I pushed the button to open it up and immediately noticed how smooth the "opening" action was. It doesnt just pop open.... it glides open. Silly I know, but I liked it. In addition it sticks to the window great It keeps my phone within view and I dont have to fumble around for it to follow directions. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone shopping for a unit like this. As a matter of fact, Im buying a second one right now.

I decided to buy this lens because I noticed several people posting macro photographs taken with their phones in Instagram and they're amazing. It's very small, so you can take it anywhere. It attaches magnetically, but if your phone doesn't have a metal surface, it comes with a "glued" metal ring (and a spare ring) that you stick to your phone and then attach the lens. It's a 2 in 1 combo lens, as seen in the picture it's a wide lens, you can unscrew it and then the tiny part works as a macro lens. For the price I think it works beautifully, the details are almost perfect. You have to practice though, at first is very tricky to find out how close you have to get to the subject your photographing. I definitely recommend this item, every time a show it people just love it!

I do quite a bit of construction photography and often it is hard to get a good shot of the whole room if it is small. This makes it possible. I rarely get the circle effect around the edges. If you know how to use photoshop you can re-stretch the photo around to suit your needs. This thing is handy. However, it doesn't make a dramatic difference on how much you can get into the shot. also look at the fisheye. if you can only afford one then the fisheye is the first one i would pick.

Here's what I found after trying a multitude of styluses (or is it styli?) after buying an iPad 2. I wanted to use an iPad as a sketch book and the pad like it's name...and go digital rather than filling up notebook after notebook. So the perfect stylus has to feel like a pen and work well enough on the screen to give the tactile feel of drawing or writing on paper.
I learned that styluses tips are of 2 main types - fuzzy fabric and rubber - with some additional quirky ones made of metal (O-Stylus) or even sausage (supposed to work like your finger!).
--Fabric tips:
Pogo stylus- also used by Apple Geniuses - have a fabric tip that's great for typing or selecting or gaming even but not so good for writing or sketching anything more complex than a smiley face.
Sock Stylus - There is a seller on etsy who is selling sock styluses with conductive fabric "sock" stretched over a wooden quill which has been sawed off for the perfect length. I found that stylus a little less sensitive than the Targus and you have to hold it at a certain angle for best results. However, if you're writing pages worth of notes on iPad then it tends to make the hand less tired than the Targus as Targus has a squishy rubber tip that can cause some fatigue.
There are other fuzzy fabric styluses out there sold by small stores - like the ones by the guy who has been advertising on all Mac forums and posting pictures of his store in competitors' item images. They claim that they have the best yet but I haven't tried those yet.
--Rubber tips:
The Targus in question has a rubber tip. Please check my uploaded pic for size comparison against some other styluses.
The rubber tip on this stylus looks pretty thick but is still thinner than our fingers. The problem is that it does block the view when writing or sketching just like our finger. There is also another 2nd gen ACase that has tried to eliminate some of that by creating a longer stylus and a thinner and longer rubber tip but failed to deliver as the thinner tip had to be held at certain angles to write well and became more squishy and less natural.
This Targus has been the best of the 4-5 styluses I tried so far (refer to the pic) overall as it is the most responsive of all and has a matte finish stem rather than ACase's smooth finish which makes it a little less slippery to hold. The iPad 2 is already so slinky, I don't want to worry about dropping the stylus too It performed well on Penultimate and UPad writing apps and SketchBook Express the sketching app and captured light strokes as well as the heavier strokes. The performance was a lot better than the Acase 2nd Generation Apple iPad / iPhone / iPod Capacitive Stylus (Jet Black) Newest Modeland a shade better than the Acase 2 in 1 Stylus + Pen for Apple iPad 16GB, 32GB, 64GB WiFi + 3G, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy, BlackBerry Playbook (Black). And don't even bother trying the really cheap ones 3 Pack (Red + Black + Silver) of Universal Touch Screen Stylus Pen for Apple iPod Touch 2nd 3rd 4th Gen, iPhone 3G 3GS 4th Gen Generation, they're perhaps ok for tapping a little but not for writing or sketching. Although some people have suggested on forums that roughing up the rubber tip of the cheap styluses with a sandpaper makes them work better.
I've also heard good things about the Boxwave and Alupen but haven't tested them so I can't say if they're better than Targus.
So there you have it, Targus was the winner in writing and sketching on iPad but still not the perfect stylus as it is not as responsive as I would like. I'm still looking for that perfect stylus.

Buyer beware! Genuine Targus products work well and are a good value so this is not a ding on Targus, didn't really want the product to have one star but wanted future buyers to be careful. Recently I purchase two of these for my wife and myself from Amazon and was surprised to find out they were actually shipping thru one of their retailers called Asecshop all the way from Hong Kong. They were in bubble wrap in a small manila envelope and no the Targus name was not on anything including the product. After a recent trip to to a big box store who sells genuine Targus items my suspicions were confirmed, what I received was in deed counterfeit. When my items arrived looking like something you would expect to receive from ebay not Amazon. I left a similar statement on the Asecshop feedback page as well and I was not alone with this type of behavior, lots of folks complaining about counterfeit goods being sold and described as the original article. look similar to Targus in shape but they are clearly not genuine Targus. I have reported this to Amazon and the are supposedly looking in to it, I hope they correct this and do a better job of setting up there retailers in the future. ebay use to be reputable too until they started letting everyone sell all their knock off products on there, now you never know what you are going to get. Just my two cents, but I will only purchase products in the future that ship directly from Amazon"s Distribution Centers. One bad apple.......

This product has two major issues:
1. While it's description claims it has a 2 Amp port and a 1 Amp port, the reality is that it has bridged the two ports and it can only source 2 Amps total. It is not capable of delivering 3 Amps combined like the description implicitly claims and could never simultaneously charge an iPad and a smart phone. (UPDATE: The technical details section now indicates more clearly the 2A total, which is appreciated.)
2. The 2 Amp port appears to be using the Apple protocol for USB power, so that port will only provide 0.5 Amps to most other devices.
The upside of this is the 1 Amp port somewhat over delivers, and can source 2 Amps if nothing else is connected and 1.5 Amps if the 2 Amp port is sourcing 0.5 Amps for a non-Apple device. Thus this product can support one-high power non-Apple device (in the 1 Amp port) and one lower power device (in the 2 Amp port).
Now some more background/details...
First, a little background on USB charging for those who don't know:
The USB power spec is for 0.5 Amps at 5 Volts... or 2.5 Watts. This was great up until the last couple years when devices have gotten really power hungry, particularly smartphones and tablets and to a lesser extent dedicated GPS's. Some of these devices use over 2 Amps, particularly the tablets like the iPad (or in my case the HP Touchpad).
Manufacturers of these devices therefore had a dilemma. If they had their devices pull more than 0.5 Amps, they risked damaging the power source, which could be a computer, that was only prepared to source 0.5 Amps. Thus the manufacturers have used tricks to determine whether their device is connected to an unknown source, at which point they purposely only draw 0.5 Amps, or to the dedicated charger that was provided with the device, where they can draw all the power they need.
There seem to be two common tricks used. The first is to short the two data-wires together in the charger. This is what most non-Apple devices do. Since a computer or older device wouldn't have done this, the device can assume it is safe to draw all the power it needs.
Apple seems to have taken a different approach, one that I don't fully understand but know can be seen by the fact that the data lines are neither open nor shorted when the charger is plugged in, and is more sophisticated and probably superior, because I suspect it allows the device to know exactly how much power it can use.
While Apple taking a better approach might be nice in concept, it's created chaos in the USB charger product category. What is the non-specific charger to do? They can't support both.
This device chose to go the Apple route for the 2 Amp port. I don't own any high-power Apple devices, so I can't say for sure, but I suspect this unit performs well with Apple devices. Using electronic equipment I was able to draw 2 Amps when putting a fixed load on this USB charging port. However, when I connect any of the 3 high-power devices I have (HP Touchpad (2 Amps), Motorola Triumph Android phone (0.85 Amps) and the LG Optimus Slider (0.7 Amps)), none of them drew all the current they could have, because they were expecting a shorted set of data-lines.
Luckily for my purposes, the 1 Amp port on this device uses the data-line shorting method. As such, it was able to deliver all the power my Triumph and Optimus wanted. However, for some reason, even when it was the only device connected, it would not fully charge the HP Touchpad at the 2 Amps it could have, because for one reason or another, the HP Touchpad rejected it as a high power charger.
To be honest, this surprised me because it was able to source the 2 Amps the Touchpad claims it needs and the HP Touchpad charger has the data-lines shorted. So I'm not sure why this didn't work.
Thus this device gets 3 stars (UDPATE: 4 stars) because it can source the current it claims (minus the somewhat deceptive 2A + 1A notation (UPDATE: Which is now more clear in the technical details)), would likely support an iPad like it claims, but falls short in other regards noted elsewhere.
For non-Apple users, or even more so mixed users (say an iPad and an Android phone?) this device is superior to the other device I purchased, the "Kensington K33497US PowerBolt Duo Car Charger" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PU01M4/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details) because on that device, NEITHER port works with non-Apple devices (although it performed better power-wise, see my review over there for details).

I went to the Apple store to replace the original earbuds with remote that came with the iPhone 4, and found that they charged $29 for the replacement. That seemed high, so I checked to see if there was a better price on Amazon; I found these and ordered them. They are exactly the same earbuds that come with the iPhone for 1/3 the cost. In fact, I later found my lost ones and they are now mixed up--I can't tell the difference between the original ones and the replacement ones, in form or in function. Very pleased.

I bought these to use with an iPad. They sound just like the headset that came with the iPad. The remote has three buttons - volume up, down and play/pause. There is no way by looking at the headset or the packaging that they came in to determine who made them, but they look just like the original headset I had.

I bought this so I would have a long cord to charge my new iPad 3. When I pluged each cord into my new iPad 3, I got the message "Not Charging." These cords do not work with the new iPad 3. They work on an iPhone 4S, but not on a new iPad 3.

These will not charge the new iPad. I tested them vs an original iphone cable, iphone 4 cable and the cable that came with the new ipad, and they were the only one that wouldn't charge it. They work perfectly fine otherwise, and would charge my phone normally, just not the new ipad.

The case fits extremely well and has a sleek profile. The cover looks great and is of noticeable quality. The case offers protection from most probable accidents. Note though, that the cover does not cover the front screen but merely provides a frame on the outer edge, leaving a lot of exposure. I would recommend a screen protector.

I received my case quickly and am very satisfied with the product. It is not flimsy and it is good hard rubber material. Thanks for the good price.

I've had this adapter for about a year. I bought it for use with my JVC 'shrooms and the iPhone 4. This was meant to be a temporary fix until something of better quality came out. Sad to say, but there still isn't anything better after an e n t i r e year. I think it's safe to say that Apple or China is inhibiting the mic adapter market for iDevices. But I digress politically...
In the beginning of my experience, the adapter was a great fix for a harsh vacancy. One who loves music must surely spit when apples earbuds are mentioned. The voice quality was crisp and I didn't detect any loss of quality for music. The volume slider worked great.
Then, after one month of use, the clip decided it was through with life and promptly split at the hinge. Being the ghetto genius I am, I modded the hinge part with a paper clip and continued.
After about seven months of use the wire at the plug end began to decay, showing clear stress signs. Shortly thereafter, it separated revealing the inner guts. It took some heatshrink with electric tape to create a suitable fix. Needless to say, it became unattractive at this point.
About a month ago, I began encountering intermittent interference while on voice calls. Unfortunately it's steadily become a receiver for a gremlin minimalist band that loves to chip at my sanity with bits and bops. Talking over the sequential patterns is like trying to sing under a Chinese water torture device. It is freaking irritating. I notice that tapping/lightly slamming the volume control/control button/ microphone case seems to deliver an instant encore.
It's dead Jim.
Now after much research I find that there is still no better option. The Shure MPA-C3 is oddly vacant from the face of the planet. Griffin smart talk is described as coming apart after a month, Monster has issues with destroying pocketed iphones, and Audio-Technica has build quality issues that are almost as bad as the Griffin smart talk adapter. Just the mention of any of these aberrations makes me recoil. The saving grace is that while this brandless adapter is disposable, it's also cheap to replace. I'll be purchasing this again but this time I'll modify the heck out of it. Gorilla glue, heatshrink and some steel iBeams for good measure.

I have finally achieved the white iPhone look. I read somebody else's review of this product saying that, once this decal is on, the black edges are still quite visible. Keeping that in mind, I got Apple's white bumper case and hoped that this decal will stay nicely underneath it. My hopes weren't in vain.
This decal stays perfectly under the bumper case and it looks just awesome. I also decided to keep the button sticker on just because that black hole was bugging my eyes. The only drawback is that it covers the nice Apple logo in the back. So, all in all, this decal is awesome, but even better with the white bumper case! Recommend.

Wanted to post this review for the decals.
First, these are great decals. I've used them on all my iphones and cell phones. Easy to apply. Attention to detail is fantastic. There's a cut for every little hole on the iphone4.
A few things that didn't work for me and my otterbox rugged case.
1. The main purpose of me buying one of these decals was to put around the metal band on my iphone 4. Was hoping to switch between the otter box and a SFBags case for the iphone that fits a bumper.
2. The decals went on great. I did notice that they did not cover up the black bands around the case of the phone...so these decals will NOT protect against the attenuation problem.
3. After putting the decals on I tried to put the otterbox case back on. This is where the fun begins.
4. The otterbox case is designed to be snug...there is no wiggle room. As is the case, this means even the low profile of the decal got caught on the edges of the case and wouldn't sit nicely in the case. The decal got scrunched up and wrinkled from the pressure of trying to squeeze the case around the decal. I decided to take off the outside two decals to see if I could still get the case to close. At this point I only had the bottom decal on. I was able to get the case to close but then I worried about the extra added pressure that I was putting on the metal band on the iphone. I eventually decided to take off all the decals and just use the iphone as a naked iphone inside my otterbox. I didn't want to scratch up the metal bands...at least not yet. The toy is still to new.
All in all, I'm still impressed by the decals. The otterbox is holding up fantastic. I will post a review of the otterbox under the item later.
Highly recommended if you need some protection for your new iphone.
