This screen worked as well as I could have hoped. It was fairly easy to install (with the aid of a YouTube video) [...]. I was worried that I might damage the screen while installing it. My fears were put to rest when I noticed that it had a pretty thick protective film on it to be removed prior to installing the digitizer (glass top). This was a good, inexpensive fix.

I needed an LCD because I wasn't careful when reparing mine and cracked the original, so I got this. I won't say it was a mistake, because now my iPod works again, but it's not as good as the original screen. There is a noticable distortion if you were to move the ipod up and down. I think it has to do with the refresh rate of the lcd. Either way, it's there, but this is still good if you can ignore that.
